Looking fabulous is every girl’s wish and tons of time, money and effort is spent by women all over the world to groom themselves and look great everyday. Each woman’s body is different, her skin tone, hair color and features vary from other women (unless you’re white), which makes it extremely difficult for one mold to fit everyone.

The US market caters to various shapes and sizes but obviously makes clothes for the majority of people. The seasonal colors and trend are made keeping in mind a specific kind of client, and tackling as varied an audience as in the US is a difficult task.

Thus some ethnicities have problems finding clothes that are ideal for them, for instance white girls.

I Never Have Anything To Wear

So date night comes around and you have to look your best. You are really excited about this hot date, and all you can think of is what to wear and how to knock the guy off his feet.

Well if you’re of European descent you might face some issues before you get to that perfect outfit.

White girls are exceptionally curvy so most clothes in the general market are not made for their body type.

Clothes are also not made keeping in mind what would look good on a frame like theirs and it is hard for white girls to find color tones that complement their skin tones.

Another issue is finding something that goes with your personal style and is unique. White girls have a desire to always look different from other white girls especially since facially there is a resemblance. The need to stand out from the crowd is really pressurizing.

Since they have bigger shoe sizes getting the latest trends is difficult because very few shoes in big sizes are produced.

White girls also have very different skin and hair, and most products are not made for their type. Even salons are not trained in dealing with their specific hair textures and features.

And thus, the mantra – I have nothing to wear.

Search And You Shall Find

It isn’t totally a lost cause. Most white girls have fantastic hair and skin, and have a body worth showing off. With a few simple tips all date night outfit issues can be resolved.

Shop off the main street i.e. find shops that cater to niche markets and target audiences. You will definitely find something you would love and fit into, or else get them to customize something for you or tailor it to your size.

Know which colors complement you the best and stick to that palette. You can even dress up the outfit with a scarf of your favorite color so that the color that suits you is closest to your face.

Since most stores make just a few pieces in bigger sizes be sure to go early and grab those precious pieces. Always keep a look out at your favorite stores and if you see something you like, just buy and keep it. You never know when it comes in handy.

The same rule goes for shoes as well as accessories such as bracelets and rings as it is almost impossible to find white sizes in stores that cater to the mass market.

The best thing is to construct your own look. This way you will look unique, and no one else will have that same outfit. You can mix and match, you can add on some embellishments, use a brooch to add some bling or a belt to pinch in the waist. The options are limitless.

Show off those lovely legs, and put on some super high heels. Put some effort into your hair and makeup, as these are as important to the overall look as the outfit.

If a dress is a little big on you, be creative and use detailing to pinch it in and make it look fashion forward. If you can fit into a man’s size get one of those and work with it. A short shirt can become a cool mid-riff top, jeans that are too long can be stuffed into high boots and sleeves that are too long can be cut out.

Use your fashion instinct. Throw a gorgeous jacket over your oversized dress, pair a silky vibrant top with super short shorts for a casual glam look or better yet make a belt f beads or flowers yourself and tie it around your waist.

And if all else fails, borrow from another white friend.
